Remove a Drop Shadow in Inkscape

Here’s an easy one that stumped me for a bit. How do you remove a drop shadow from an object in Inkscape? This guy had the answer:

Select the object, then from the filters menu (where you would normally apply a filter), select “Remove Filters” at the bottom. This will remove all the filters applied to that object, not just the drop shadow filter, but it gets the job done!

Hi. Just found that you can click on Filter Editor (Filters menu) instead of Remove Filters and then add/remove individual filters instead of removing all.

Thanks for mentioning this, it helped me find the option. And I found the Filter Editor option right before reading your comment.

I have to say too, I’m so impressed with Inkscape. The ability to add and remove filters so easily, especially with how advanced the built-in filters are, makes it so much more usable for myself than Photoshop. I realize it’s not an image editor, but I use it like one.
